Group D

Dirk Kuyt fired the Reds in the dying minutes of the extra time last Wednesday into this season's CL group phase. They will face Marseille, PSV Eindhoven and Torres's former club Athletico Madrid. I think LFC will go through and reach the ko-round. Let's see if they can win at Villa Park on Sunday.

Masch back in training

Javier Mascherano is back at Melwood after he claimed his second gold medal at the Olympics. He arrived together with the other Olmypic duo Lucas and Ryan Babel. Rafa stated that there's a new buzz in training now.

Other statements on LFC's website:

Rush: "Time to win with style"
Gerrard: 'Let's not blow our Rome dream"

My mighty Reds will qualify tonight, when they entertain Liege at Anfield!

Setlist Horb - summer of love 2008

Again, thanks to Chrissy for last Saturday's setlist:

Taste of death

Metallica give us tastes of death - check out the new single "The Day That Never Comes" and now "My Apocalypse", Real Player is requiered.

Good-bye Jeff Singer, bring back Lee Morris!

Jeff Singer is no longer Paradise Lost's drummer. Due to reasons of family and a new job he could no longer follow his career in the band. I would like to wish him all the best for his future and I would like the band to attempt to bring back Lee, which was a good drummer as Jeff.

Happy Birthday Ralf!

Another buddy and team-mate celebrates his birthday today. The best wishes to you, baby!

Local duo secure win over 'Boro

Jamie Carragher grabbed his fifth goal in his Anfield-career for the equalizer and a injury-time stunning winner by Steven Gerrard secured three points. The team impressed me with their passion, but unfortunately not with their game itself. They must raise it and keep on improving to go through Liege in the CL qualifier and to grab the big points. With this level now I can't see a win over Chelsea or ManU.

This was another great concert at Saturday, even the rain stopped for Emil Bulls' gig in Horb. I could almost cry about the opener, my favourite song "The Most Evil Spell", cause it's so huge. After the show we met Chrissy, Fab and Moik, who had also fun. We were surprised as Jamie cutted off his dreads...

Mini-Rock-Festival with Emil Bulls

The Bavarian boys will play tomorrow in Horb am Neckar, along with Madsen and Blackmail. I hope it's not going to rain there. Rock on!!!

Another one turns 30

The best wishes to my buddy and team-mate Tobi, have a nice birthday! We will celebrate it in style tonight, baby!

Final joy for Masch

Javier Mascherano reached the final with Argentinia at the Olympics in Beijing!

Premier League opening

A vital start for the Reds with a winning opener of this season! A late goal by Torres gave Liverpool the good start at Sunderland. Also good news: Everton was defeated by Blackburn, ManU - Newcastle draw!

Death Magnet is officialy done! Check out the new live track on "Cyanide", which will be on Metallica's new release.

best player in pre-season

Xabi Alonso was announced by a fan's voting on LFC's official site as the best player in pre-season, although he missed the first matches. Please, Rafa, don't sell him!

Am I cool or what?!

..even without sunglasses...

Compare me with this guys;-)

Who is who?

Important note: "Death Magnetic" will be released on September 12th this year!

dreamgirl of the month - August

It's a singer again - Cristina Scabbia of Lacuna Coil!

We're back!

Man, this trip to Bavaria was great!!! We had our stay in Waging am See, which is a beautiful place and the warmest lake in Oberbayern. Our accomodation was nice with a good breakfast. We took the oppurtunity to visit Salzburg by train. Cheap and not far! Salzburg is a beautiful city. On our way back we visited Munich, of course with a break at the Augustiner brewery...

This is it, baby - Leberkäs-Semmel and Weißbier!

Greetz from Bavaria

Hejsan und Servus!

Best regards from Waging am See. We have good weather, great food and great beer!!!
