Dirk Kuyt fired the Reds in the dying minutes of the extra time last Wednesday into this season's CL group phase. They will face Marseille, PSV Eindhoven and Torres's former club Athletico Madrid. I think LFC will go through and reach the ko-round. Let's see if they can win at Villa Park on Sunday.

Masch back in training

Javier Mascherano is back at Melwood after he claimed his second gold medal at the Olympics. He arrived together with the other Olmypic duo Lucas and Ryan Babel. Rafa stated that there's a new buzz in training now.

Good-bye Jeff Singer, bring back Lee Morris!

Jeff Singer is no longer Paradise Lost's drummer. Due to reasons of family and a new job he could no longer follow his career in the band. I would like to wish him all the best for his future and I would like the band to attempt to bring back Lee, which was a good drummer as Jeff.

Local duo secure win over 'Boro

Jamie Carragher grabbed his fifth goal in his Anfield-career for the equalizer and a injury-time stunning winner by Steven Gerrard secured three points. The team impressed me with their passion, but unfortunately not with their game itself. They must raise it and keep on improving to go through Liege in the CL qualifier and to grab the big points. With this level now I can't see a win over Chelsea or ManU.

Enjoyment

This was another great concert at Saturday, even the rain stopped for Emil Bulls' gig in Horb. I could almost cry about the opener, my favourite song "The Most Evil Spell", cause it's so huge. After the show we met Chrissy, Fab and Moik, who had also fun. We were surprised as Jamie cutted off his dreads...

We're back!

Man, this trip to Bavaria was great!!! We had our stay in Waging am See, which is a beautiful place and the warmest lake in Oberbayern. Our accomodation was nice with a good breakfast. We took the oppurtunity to visit Salzburg by train. Cheap and not far! Salzburg is a beautiful city. On our way back we visited Munich, of course with a break at the Augustiner brewery...
